"Un-carrier" T-Mobile is launching a new trade-in program for�Apple's (NASDAQ: AAPL  ) iPhone. Prospective switchers can bring in previous-generation models to offset the upfront cost of a new iPhone 5 on T-Mobile, requiring $0 down. Sprint Nextel's (NYSE: S  ) prepaid brand, Virgin Mobile, recently launched an aggressive switching campaign of its own, offering a $100 credit. However,�AT&T� (NYSE: T  ) and�Verizon� (NYSE: VZ  ) still have significant network advantages with LTE coverage, which is a key selling feature of the iPhone 5.

WisdomTree Emerging Markets High-Yielding Equity Fund (the Fund) seeks to track the performance of the WisdomTree Emerging Markets High-Yielding Equity Index (the Index). The Index measures the performance of emerging market stocks with relatively high dividend yields.     NRG Energy Inc. (NRG) �shares rallied 4.8%. The power company said Friday that it will buy Edison Mission Energy from Edison International (EIX) �for a total of $2.64 billion in an effort to expand its generation portfolio and to achieve economies of scale. It said it expects to close the deal in the first quarter of 2014.

    Deutsche Bank announced on Monday that is was maintaining a “Hold” rating on the New Jersey-based electric utility company NRG Energy Inc. (NRG), but went on to lower its price target for the company.

    Greg Poole, an analyst with the firm, commented, “NRG has several diverse businesses – generation, retail, solar, clean energy technologies, and now a separate MLP-like income vehicle for contracted assets. This helps to diversify away from the seemingly perennially challenged merchant generation business, but it also results in an increasingly complex story that may pose a challenge for investors and valuation.” As such, Deutsche Bank announced it was lowering its price target from $27 to $26 a share.

    NRG Energy Inc. shares crept higher, gaining 1.11% on the day. The stock is up almost 15% YTD.

    While this will be the first auction for wind power in federal lands, it's not the first time offshore wind has made a splash in the United States. For the past few years, the private project Cape Wind has attempted to build 468 MW of wind power in between the Massachusetts mainland and Nantucket island. The U.S. government has also granted a 96,000-acre permit to NRG Energy (NYSE: NRG  ) for its Bluewater wind project off the coast of Delaware. While neither project has started construction yet, both hope to get construction started by the end of this year to take advantage of the federal tax credits for new wind construction that will potentially expire in December. �

    Click to Enlarge Timmins Gold (TGD), like the other two gold stocks, is also challenging its 200-day moving average as buyers pour capital into a sector that had been left for dead. An upside breakout here would be the first since early 2013.
